A popular variant of the traditional striped candycane, the stripeless version of the familiar peppermint treat is especially popular around Frostfall when magic is at its strongest. At the core of a stripeless candycane is a sliver of sweet enchanted sugar, usually extracted from the sap of magical trees. They're commonly given out as part of gift bags at this time of year. The cane shape is said to represent the flow of magic into the earth, though this theory is contested with others believing it originates from old depictions of a mysterious traveler who wandered the seas on foot.
